Find a hole to escape

Really boring! It's really boring to test a case again and again on various OS platforms and browsers!!
We need a hole to escape from the trap. We should not waste so many efforts on what doesn't deserve well.
For example, why should we test an action again on IE after we've verified it works on FireFox? Different implementations among those browsers? No, the implementations are various, but the specification of Javascript and DHTML and DOM is identical!

It should be possible we can save the time!

The first question for a software tester

What is software testing?

I have no answer for this big question myself, but I believe I have some ideas about this.

For a software group or company, software testing is the process to assure the quality of their product.

For end users of the software, software testing is what they rely on to keep their data safe and do their job reliable.

For a hacker, software testing is holes by which they can creep in and show their existence ...

So, what's software testing for a tester? Yeah, I think my best answer is Software Testing is a way that a tester can make living :)

The first and the welcome!

All the contents are for testing!
